Two loves,
brought together.
My love of baking began in my grandmother’s kitchen. My eye for shape, colour and detail came from a background in art and design.
The Botanical Cake Company is where those two parts of me meet. Every cake begins with listening: to the atmosphere you want, the flowers you’ve chosen, the setting and the little details that make the wedding unmistakably yours.
I work from my studio in Ruthin and create cakes for celebrations across North Wales, Cheshire and beyond. Because I make every element myself, I take on a limited number of weddings and give each one the time it deserves.

The botanical signature
Flowers that invite a closer look.
Sugar flowers are at the heart of my work. I study the curve of a petal, the way colour deepens towards its centre and the natural irregularities that make a bloom feel alive.
Each flower is shaped and finished by hand. They can echo your bouquet, mark a meaningful season or bring a favourite flower into the design—and many couples keep them long after the cake has been enjoyed.
